Friday 27th - Monday 30th August 2010
The August Bank Holiday weekend saw the Devon Diesel Society run a Real Ale Festival at Staverton Station as part of the South Devon railway's Rails and Ales event.
With over 35 Real Ales and Ciders to sample there was something for everyone who chose to visit the Festival with the event proving to be highly successful once again.
The Society would like to thank all those who visited the bar and helped raise valuable funds which will go towards the ongoing maintenance and restoration of its locomotive fleet.
We would also like to thank all those who visited the railway over the weekend and helped to make the Rail and Ales event both successful and highly enjoyable.
